Det. Thomas McCaffery, who retired out of Bronx Narcotics in year 2000, has been teaching at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Ossining, New York for two decades. This beloved math teacher’s home suffered an electrical fire which devastated his house and property on September 27, 2025. His school students and faculty started a “Go Fund Me” page to help the family rebuild their home and replace their clothing and other necessities that were destroyed.
